Context: This was originally posted on two pages, one on The Pakeha Party page, and the other on an anti-The Pakeha Party page - This was my original response to the article below which was posted on fightback.org.nz, an openly Communist group. I engaged in a rather lengthy debate with the author of the article, and by debate I mean I very politely debunked his Marxist tripe and he responded with the usual name calling - A few of which include: Racist, White Supremacist, Misogynist, Antisemite, Homophobe, Bigot..and so on. After his sorry excuse for an argument was thoroughly annihilated he promptly deleted the post from The Pakeha Party's page so he and his opinions weren't exposed for the fallacious, wannabe-Boslehvik, anti-White guilt propaganda that they are. Thus, only my original rebuttal from the other page the link was posted on (I posted the same response on both posts) remains.
Here is his article, Titled: "Racist Pakeha Party ignores history"
The irony of a Communist talking about the perils of ignoring history is something to behold!
http://fightback.org.nz/2013/07/29/racist-pakeha-party-ignores-history/
(I quote segments of the article and then rebuke them)
"Even
if the Pakeha Party itself is a flash in the pan, the popularity of the
Pakeha Party message indicates a serious miseducation within New
Zealand about our own history and our race relations."
Seriously?
Maori culture and New Zealand history comprise a sizable chunk of the
public school curriculum. The author of this article is drawing the
wrong conclusion. Why does every Liberal declare or imply all of their
political opponents are "uneducated" or infer that the basis of their
objections are the result of 'ignorance' ?
The
popularity of the Pakeha Party message is indicative of the discontent
non-Maori New Zealanders feel about the issue of Maori privilege and the
Government's pandering to opportunist Iwi. Race based entitlements are
fundamentally antithetical in a proclaimed multicultural, egalitarian
society, simple as that.
"The argument is familiar enough: that “Pākehā now should not be paying for the crimes of our ancestors” "
It's
not even just Pakeha (Whites to be less ambiguous) that object, but
members of immigrant communities too. What the hell do you mean OUR
ancestors? Blaming all Whites for the alleged misgivings of the Colonial
British is nonsensical and in itself racist. You would have the ENTIRE
Caucasian population carry guilt because of what the British did? Plenty
of White Kiwis have NO British heritage what so ever, they too are
Pakeha in the eyes of society yet their ancestors bare no blame in
regards to colonial era history.
It's no different than blaming all Arabs and Muslims for terrorism - Something I'm sure you lot would harshly condemn.
"All workers are dispossessed, but indigenous people experience dispossession in the extreme "
Kinda
like how the indigenous people's of Europe are being dispossessed via
enforced multiculturalism/mass immigration/racial miscegenation? I don't
see any Left wingers singing the blues for them! Racially homogenize
Europe and I would personally encourage every White person in NZ to
return there!
"Māori are over represented in prisons"
You would claim discrimination in the justice system, I would suggest genetic behavioral predispositions and cultural pressures.
"have poorer health outcomes and die younger"
Again,
genetics. It's not Whitey's fault that Maori don't live as long on
average. They have the same access to medical care as non-Maori New
Zealanders.
"are in more dangerous and lower paid jobs"
I've
never seen any evidence of this, feel free to prove me wrong. Minimum
wage is minimum wage regardless of race, Maori have the same access to
higher education as Pakeha. Oh, and remember Pike river? All Pakeha.

"all related to systemic poverty and institutionalized racism that has built up over decades."
The 'chunky' to 'slim' ratio for Maori doesn't suggest a widespread problem with poverty
Institutionalized racism? lol. Which institutions are racist? Indulge me.
There's plenty more claptrap in that article to tear apart so come at me fellas!
